I love the photo also, particularly the contrast of the messy/organic plant life with the hard concrete of the statue.

I took this picture this summer when Rise and I went to Sarasota. We found this imprisoned cherub among the trees on the grounds of the Ringling Brothers Museum. I think the ties that bind her are from a strangler fig----no wonder she looks a tad worried.

Interesting picture... I thought that it was figure on the front of a ship surrounded with fish netting
