Crafts appear fairly regularly at a local large show-ground, but all this takes time, planning and petrol.Relatively Retiringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07648407316162715318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31711654.post-10096193689656471932014-09-12T07:16:30.471-04:002014-09-12T07:16:30.471-04:00I love that shop in Berea. I always feel like we're rushing on vacation -- although I hate to wish away my life, I can't wait until retirement so that we can just stop anywhere we want!Thimbleannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03650582809426872051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31711654.post-8212963831424944912014-09-10T22:30:08.085-04:002014-09-10T22:30:08.085-04:00It's pretty hard to find "Made in Austral...It's pretty hard to find "Made in Australia" here, too. It used to be proudly proclaimed that things were made in Britain and Marks and Spencer always used to say 90% (it might have been a higher percentage I forget) of our goods are Made in Britain. Not any more and yet like you we can find some wonderful artisan crafted goods if only we take the time to look and foodstuffs are found aplenty in my neck of the woods I am happy to say but clothing, household appliances, gifts well as you say they are as common as feathered fish. Shame but in these days of cheaper is better (or is it!) nothing is made here it would seem.Marigold Jamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02895195019277206960noreply@blogger.com
