Heaven was first grade when we got to use pens with nibs, ink pots and blotting paper. Since then I've been in love with words. Writing down my thoughts helps me to make sense of them. Blogging keeps them all in one place. Besides, I might not live forever. These "Chronicles" will help me sort the chaos in my head into some coherent thoughts, memories and stories which may, or may not, be of interest to anyone but myself. And, with a little bit of luck, to the odd passerby.

Blue Moon....
Not sure how it was different than any other full moon, but, apparently, we won't see it again until 2015......so here's how it looked from here last night.
Our full moon was mostly hidden by cloud and rain. Whenever this happens I feel very cheated. The earth has no business allowing rain when the moon is full.
Thanks for stopping by my place. I have been a slub about posting anything. I think all the nasty politics have dried up my thought processes. I certainly hate spending my latter years feeling so negative. And yes, I loved "Blue Moon".... it was part of my youth.

I think a blue moon is the second full moon in a calendar month rather than the normal just one.
I'll give you just one guess as to why I didn't see it ...
Árgh! Who sang "Blue Moon "?
You know that one .... B-l-u-e mooooon , da-da dee da , da da dah...
Molly - once in a blue moon do you see a blue moon :)
PS: S&S - the Marcels sang that version.
I hope you wished on it...or better yet, danced under it.
