It started in kindergarten with pens and ink pots and blotting paper. Since then I've loved writing. Transferring the noise in my head to paper calms the chaos. If a worthwhile thought occasionally emerges, I'll keep it here with memories, stories and other random trivia, of interest mainly to myself and, with a bit of luck, to the odd passerby.
Well, I guess they do look like moons! I was at the beach last w.e. and towards evening the wind was up. Perfect conditions for all the little rich boys to bring out their expensive toys and go kite boarding, or skim boarding as someone else said it's called. The windier the better. If you zoom in close you can see the harness and cables attaching the boarder to the kite. Sometimes the wind helps the boarder to leap WAY up in the air....I mean like ten or twelve stories high! The hot shots like to do all sorts of stunts. It's really cool to watch [from terra firma on the shore!] However I wouldn't encourage any of my children, no matter if they COULD afford the equipment,to take it up. Any more than I would encourage them to bungee jump, or swallow swords or wrestle crocodiles! There are some things in life that are best enjoyed as a spectator. Only!
Lovely pic. Believe me, when you are a spectator to your son Bungy Jumping, is it a terrible thing to see!! And that was the video & I knew he had lived, as he sat beside me!

I can't make my comment wordless, so I'll stick to one: stunning.
