When I went to visit in Ohio last October, Lily let me play with her yarn. She knows I get twitchy if I don't have something to do with my hands when I'm out of my natural habitat so she produced this..........
There was lots more than this to start with, but I used it up making a cozy scarf........dashingly modeled for you here by Teddy, my ancient, blind bear.
[Aside from Teddy: "She'd be better employed knitting me a decent pair of socks. Do you see how shoddily shod I am? I'm just saying...."]
No. 6 - A Library:
This is not our library proper, but then I'm not a proper rule-follower. Besides, the Little Red Schoolhouse makes a more interesting picture than the actual library. This is where old library books go to die..... or, with a little luck, find a new lease on life.
No. 10 - Something out of Place.
I was stuck for this one, until this morning..........
......................when I came across these two fellows looking a little distracted in the parking lot.
Only four to go!

Hahaha -- apparently FL birds have the same problem we have up here -- where oh where did I park that car???
It's so sad that old Teddy can't see that beautiful scarf. And the little red schoolhouse is very pretty!
I LOVE that you're still scavenging!!!
What a blast from the past to see Teddy himself! Scarf is wasted on him ... it would be MUCH nicer on me ...
Pity I can't organise all my thoughts ito one comment ... Sigh ... What a neglectful bear-carer you are ... no eyes and hundreds of potential orbs lurking in you sewing room i bet? Will have to examine my conscience and decide whether or not to shop you to the RSPB ... Now, as I was saying ... that scarf ....
My bear sighs wistfully . He's still wearing a coat knitted by my mother over fifty years ago .
So glad they can't find it ( or remember! )
I'm a real sucker for teddy pictures. And the scarf suits him.
