It started in kindergarten with pens and ink pots and blotting paper. Since then I've loved writing. Transferring the noise in my head to paper calms the chaos. If a worthwhile thought occasionally emerges, I'll keep it here with memories, stories and other random trivia, of interest mainly to myself and, with a bit of luck, to the odd passerby.

Wordless [Almost] Wednesday
"Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness," and random beauty found in a ditch.....
Do you get autumn in Florida? I mean, I realise that you get October and November.. but I wonder if it feels like autumn? Crisp mornings, sunlight on light frost, that scent of fallen leaves on the air. (Lashing rain, stinging wind, darkness by 4pm...)
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. And yes, Isabelle, there is Autumn in Florida! Not much lashing rain, stinging wind and darkness by 4 p.m. though! But the blistering heat of August and much of September is gone. Replaced by lovely cool mornings and evenings, with a few hours of short sleeve-, or at most light sweater-weather in between. The truth about this photo is that it wasn't taken in Florida at all, but in Ohio last month!
Love going wordless. I'm doing it all week while I get my nanowrimo word count up. That naughty Anna dropped by hinting she had been to Scotland and I have followed the story through two blogs and now here to find the clever psychic. The apple picking looked very familiar. Where in Ohio? Wendy

Lovely colours ... and you even have sunshine too!
Autumn is nearly finished here ... naked, scrawny trees shivering in the wind ....
Sigh.
Gosh, so beautiful!
I could never do a wordless post, it would be impossible not to 'speak' for me ;)
Ahh, wild and colourful.
This is gorgeous! :)
Living in an urban area, these pictures really do a lot for me.

Came across your blog via my aunts blog.
That is one lovely photo. It is almost winter where I live.

Love the photo!!! Also thank you for coming and saying hello on my blog. It is always nice to see you've "been there". :)
